Personal Notes – This is one of our MOST POWERFUL tips and it works all of the time. People love to get handwritten notes of thanks, “great to meet you,” or congratulations. We love them. When we receive a handwritten note we put all of our mail down, and open that letter note first. Handwritten notes will never go out of style.
I have had the experience of writing a note to someone and then seeing that person weeks to months later and they will remember the note and thank me for sending it. How many handwritten notes do you have in your top drawer, on your bulletin board, and in a memory book or box? Other than pictures, the most saved form of communication is a handwritten note.
The confident and influential leader is successful because they actually write the notes and their communication that is remembered and saved.
