Write, Write, Write

Everyone can write. You have a book in you and lots of interesting chapters too. Some of the most impactful moments in my life have been when I’ve put my “pen to paper” and let it flow. Of course it is good to have an editor or a proofreader to help. Practice makes perfect.

One of the most prolific and honored American authors is Ernest Hemmingway. One evening, at a cocktail party he attended, a person told Hemmingway what a wonderful writer he was. Hemmingway is known to have said “I don’t know how good I am, however, I write everyday no matter how I feel or the circumstances.” Practice makes you a better writer.

Start with an article to your local paper about a subject you are passionate about or an expert in. Thousands of online newsletters and magazines need writers to fill the space for their readers. You can even practice your skills by contributing to blogs or start your own blog.

Write, write, write. If you can put your thoughts on paper, you can influence people to listen, be interested and inspired.
