Clearly, Confidently, and Credibly". Manor's latest book is "Roadmap to
Success"
which she co-authored with Ken Blanchard, Mr. "One Minute Manager" and
Stephen Covey, author of the wildly successful "7 Habits of Highly Effective
People". Manor recently developed and launched 10 CDs with action
guides that help you design your roadmap to extraordinary success.

Richard Lee
Torbett, II
Networking and

President/Owner
Richie is a native of Northeast TN, growing up in
Piney Flats, a bedroom community of the Tri-Cities. He
graduated Salutatorian from Sullivan East High School
and received several offers for full scholarships to
universities in the southeast. He began his studies at
the Air Force Academy after receiving a Congressional
Appointment. He later transferred to the University of
Tennessee in Knoxville where he graduated Cum Laude
with a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. During his
college career he alternated semesters co-oping for TRW,
Automotive in Rogersville.
Upon graduation he worked for Burlington Textiles in
Johnson City as the Maintenance and Facilities
Supervisor. He married his college sweetheart in 1994,
and they later relocated to Nashville to further their
professional careers. They lived in Nashville for over
four years, where he served as a Powertrain Engineer for
the Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corporation. After
designing and overseeing the installation of the engine
test facility for Nissan’s new engine plant in Decherd,
TN he later furthered his technical skills while working
for Dell Computers by helping launch a new manufacturing
plant in Lebanon, TN.
In 1999 he and his wife discovered their life would be
forever changed, with the birth of their daughter,
McKayla. The couple soon returned to NE TN to raise her
among an extended family. Richie took on an engineering
position with Siemens Automotive in Johnson City, while
Ambre became the first planner for the county.
Realizing that every generation of Torbetts had led
self-sufficient lives running their own businesses,
Richie soon decided that he too thrived on the next
challenge and would not be fulfilled working for a big
corporation or bureaucracy.
In 2002, Richie purchased a small, but established local
computer company and has grown it into one of the
leading IT Service and Sales operations in the Tri
Cities. He has purchased several other companies in
order to maintain high quality services with ever
expanding skill sets and diversified products. He is
the President of Networking And Computer
Connection, which offers IT services all over
the Mountain Empire. Richie serves as Elder in his
church, is very active in his local Rotary Club, is an
executive board member of Boy Scouts, President of
Friends of Old Downtown Johnson City, and past president
of the Business Resource Group. Today, he and his wife
are raising two highly active yet gifted children who
coincidently are quite proficient on a laptop!
