How Confident Are You?
By: Natalie Hoffmann, CEO
How confident are you that…
- You are communicating clearly and effectively?
- You are easily setting context so projects and assignments are completed on time and in time?
- Your team is actually doing what they are supposed to be doing and they trust each other while doing it?
- Your organization is producing the services and products that are valued and needed by your clients/customers?
- Your day is spent on the top priorities rather than reacting to issues and situations?
- You are using your key strengths and talents to accomplish what is most important to you and your goals?
I hope you are answering yes to each of the questions and that your days are spent in satisfying work that fills you with pride of accomplishment.
However, if you are like the majority of the very bright people I am working with, the answer is no. “No, I am not confident that I am doing what needs to be done effectively.”
Although it is obvious that the turmoil of the current financial situation has our attention, it should not own us. We need to now, more than ever, confidently produce what is most important in our lives and stay committed to those dreams and goals.
We might have to modify our current strategies, but we do not have to give up and be surrounded with the fears of the globe.
Let me be forthright with you.
The majority of the disasters in our history have provided the perfect storm to change and innovate in ways that had not been accomplished – or even dreamed of – before the disaster.
Yes, there was suffering.
Yes, there was change and loss.
Yes, there was fear for what could happen.
And each tumultuous change exploded us into…
Wondrous innovation.
Deep community and sharing.
Introspection and redefining of goals and dreams.
There is money to be made today. There are opportunities that have never before presented themselves. There are wide open places that need your strengths and talents to make them work.
If you are not confident today, how confident will you be as we move through this time of tremendous upheaval, change and opportunity?
The choice is ours, you know. Here are few actions you can take to help yourself be proactive:
- Evaluate your strengths and talents – revisit “you” to find out what you really do well and then confidently do it.
- Commit to the habits that can support your strengths and talents – nutrition, new thinking, daily exercise, prayer and hanging out with great people.
- Find a coach that will support you so you can confidently be part of the new world instead of a victim of our current “thinking” about where our world is going.
My team and I had a meeting last week about this current crisis that seems to have taken hold of our world. We discussed how we at NMA can be of service to all of you during this time of upheaval and uncertainty. We decided to open up room in my schedule for three (3) new coaching clients.
If you answered “no” to any of the questions at the beginning of this week’s article then it may be an indication that you need some help and guidance. I am completely committed to helping you assess those tremendous values, strengths and talents you have. Don’t miss your opportunity to be completely confident amid the turmoil of any situation. Send me an email at Success@The-Roadmap.com with the subject line “Confidence Discussion” if you’d like to take advantage of this opportunity.
